Working on #1

Today is Day Two of being "on-program" in my weight loss efforts. The first week is always the worst. I struggle to get in my three litres of water. I am conscious of each and every single fast food ad on TV. And I go to bed feeling like I really need to eat something.

And then this morning I weighed in and discovered I actually *gained* a half-pound since starting again.

Oh well. The battle's not over unless I wave a white flag.
